A Creative Community

The Makers Nook is a dream I am aiming to bring to reality in 2024.

Our aim is to support our community with services to combat isolation and help improve our mental health through creating. Including a communal crafting area, workshops, social clubs and so much more.

What is The Makers Nook UK

The Makers Nook UK is a creative community bringing together like minded creatives ranging from small business owners, hobbyists and beginner crafters to share our love for creating and make crafting a little less lonely.

As well as providing you with the tools and resources to learn and have fun creating with our craft kits, tools and supplies suitable for adults and children (aged 3+ with adult supervision).

How can I join the community?

The Makers Nook aims to be a safe and friendly community inclusive to everyone, our little community and every one that is a part of it mean the absolute world to us and we would love for you to be able to be a part of it too which is why...

You can also join The Makers Society via Patreon which is a membership platform where you can help support our business which means we can continue to grow and support our community, in exchange for exclusive member benefits for as little as £2.50 per month you can find out more here.

How can I help?

The Makers Nook will be a community interest company trying to keep costs of our services as low as possible to make them accessible to everyone during some really difficult times.

There are many ways you can help us to develop and provide these services.

  • Donate to our Crowdfunder page here. (All donations will be going towards keeping us open for the first months of opening).
  • Join our subscription based community from as little as £2.50 per month.
  • Shop small with Jorjani Home & Gifts where all profits go towards keeping The Makers Nook operating.
  • When using our communal area make a donation every penny counts.

As a Community interest company, every penny goes back into the business to ensure we will be able to continue running our business and providing our services at as minimal cost as possible.
